The Norris Trust

Three members of The Friends (Paul Faupel, Bridget Flanagan and Ann Abraham) are part of the Norris Management Trust Group along with nine members of St Ives Town Council. The Town Council is the sole Trustee of the charity of the Herbert Norris legacy, and the Norris Trust Group manages the running and finance of the Museum. The Group meets quarterly.

Executive Council of Management

The ECM is the association’s management committee consisting of Officers and Ordinary Members. The Officers are: the Chairman, the Vice-chairman, the Secretary and the Treasurer.  The remaining seven positions are filled by Ordinary Members whose role is to assist the Officers by undertaking specific activities in support of achieving the association’s aims.  When additional ECM members are required they can be co-opted.

The ECM meets regularly throughout the year to manage the affairs of the association.

Meetings of the Friends

The ECM arranges the association’s Annual General Meeting each October.  Should the need arise an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) may be convened in accordance with the provisions of the constitution.  AGM minutes can be found here.
